What is the cost of shipping?
At check out, you will choose the actual cost of shipping your items via USPS between First Class or Priority Mail. The shipping method of your choice will then be calculated and added to your total (Please note that First Class only applies to packages 13 oz or less).
Classic Hound gladly ships internationally. If your shipping address is outside the US, either First Class International or Global Priority Mail rates will apply. Actual costs will depend on your country of residence. International packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which the package is shipped. These import duties/fees/taxes are impossible to predict from our end, and are always the recipient's responsibility.
How will Classic Hound ship my order?
Classic Hound offers both USPS Priority Mail (2-3 day service to anywhere in the United States or less than 7 days to most parts of the world), and USPS First Class Mail (offers 2-5 day shipping in US and varies worldwide). We have an excellent track record of getting orders to our customers quickly!
When will my order ship?
Classic Hound typically ships orders within 2-3 days. If your order will be delayed for any reason, we will let you know promptly by email. To check on the status of your order at any time, simply log in to your account and visit "My Orders." You will be able to view real-time status of your orders, at any time of the day or night!
What is Classic Hound's Return Policy?
We sincerely hope that you will be pleased with the products you receive. If a Classic Hound product fails to meet your standards, you may return it unused within 15 days of purchase for a refund. We stand behind our product 100% here at Classic Hound. In the extremely unlikely event the hardware or workmanship of the collar or leash are defective, please email us at contact@classicollars.com immediately for an exchange at no cost. Shipping costs are not refundable and are the responsibility of the customer for all returns.
Each Classic Hound collar is handmade and customized to fit your dog's specific measurements. Please refer to our SIZING page for help to determine which size will best fit your dog. In the event that you discover you've ordered the wrong size you are welcome to send the unused collar back (within 15 days of purchase), and the correct size will be sewn and sent back to you for a $10.00 exchange fee.
Please note that chewing, scratching, misuse or maltreatment of the collar and/or leash are not considered to be due to any flaws in workmanship and will not be considered for exchanges or refunds. The same applies for normal wear & tear. Classic Hound collars are made from highly dependable and strong materials - from the double nylon thread to the nickel-plated hardware. While they are extremely durable they can indeed be cut by anything sharp, whether from a snag on a barbwire fence or from an aggressive chew session by a dog. It is important to keep in mind that dogs wear collars differently, and the collar will reflect the energy level and roughness of the dog who wears it. One collar style will last years on one dog, and only months on another. For this reason we encourage you to check your pet's collar and leash frequently for signs of use and wear. It is ultimately up to you to determine the state and condition of your hound's collar before each use. This is a safe practice worth developing into a habit!
